Founded by a mother-daughter duo, Sherrie and Chloe, Nine Acres embodies our unwavering commitment to serving our community with love, compassion, and respect.

Nine Acres was created with the intention to offer care that is as unique and individual as the residents we serve.

Sherrie is a nurse practitioner with over 30 years of hospice experience. With her extensive background, Sherrie advocates for families and provides guidance on care and decision-making, ensuring that the right support is always available when needed.

Chloe is a full-spectrum doula who brings a holistic perspective to our work. With her compassionate approach, she ensures that each resident’s needs—physical, emotional, and spiritual—are met with integrity, heart, and care.
We chose the name Nine Acres for its deep significance. The number nine represents balance, completion, and the fruits of the Spirit. "Acres" reflects our family name and symbolizes the vast, fertile land of the soul. It honors the peaceful space every individual deserves in their final days. Just as the land nurtures life, we believe in nurturing every aspect of our residents—physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Our service reflects our love for Memphis, TN, and our deep desire to care for each person with the utmost respect and tenderness.
